How long have you been CrossFitting?  Since April 2021


What is your favorite WOD/Exercise? Bench Press


What is your least favorite WOD/Exercise? Burpees, Box Jumps, Burpee Box Jumps. Wall Walks have also recently made its way onto my list.


What is your previous workout/athletic background? Couch Potato. I've had a few traditional gym memberships but nothing really stuck. 


What was your first experience at CrossFit Cayman like? Completely Intimidating. I was way out of my comfort zone and had no idea what I was doing. The coaches took the time to really assist me with appropriate scaling and movements for my level and continue to do so to this day.  


What results have you seen since CrossFitting? I've never ever been more fit. I have definitely gotten stronger, I’ve lost weight and just feel more confident in an athletic space.


What do you do to get yourself through a tough workout (mental thoughts, tips and tricks, etc.)?  On good days it's something like “one more rep, one more round, you can do this just keep going”  and on not so good days it's more internal screaming and profanity.


What's your favorite aspect about working out at CrossFit Cayman? Honestly, the community has been great and I've met some really amazing people through the gym. As someone with practically zero sports background it's been challenging and fun to push myself doing things I never thought I would be capable of.


What advice do you have for someone thinking about joining CrossFit Cayman? Definitely just come in and see what you can do. There is a scale and challenge for everyone. Crossfit Cayman is super welcoming  and you won’t be disappointed if you stick with it. You will probably even find yourself enjoying it.
